General Information

Mahoning Inn (formerly known as Mahoning Court Motel) is located in the heart of Lehighton, which is 2.5 miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike I-476 Exit No. 74, and 4 miles from the popular historic town of Jim Thorpe. A unique feature is our beautiful scenic mountain-view behind the Inn which charms everyone in every season.

Mahoning Inn is located near all major attractions: water rafting, state parks, lakes, hiking, fishing, hunting, kayaking, scenic train rides, biking trails, The Appalachian Trail, Glen Onoko Falls, the Fall Foliage Festival, Skirmish, Golf and Pocono Nascar Racing.

Renovations and many new improvements have taken place since new management took over in January 2000. We feel proud when our valued customers tell us about the cleanliness and comfort when they stay with us.

Our 34 rooms are excellent for any budget and any occasion including weddings, family reunions, and tourism. Singles, doubles, suites, smoking, and nonsmoking rooms are decorated with the new Serta bedding, new draperies, alarm clocks and TV's with free HBO. Also available are microwaves, irons with ironing boards, hairdryers, VCRs and larger 27" TV's. Fax and copy services are available on site. Adjoining rooms are available on request.

We are very close to the Blue Mountain Ski Resort. Our ski packages are considered a super deal for our customers. Call us at 610-377-1600 for more information or reservations.
